it's almost a year since we got engaged and while our initial plans were met with a slight speedbump, we've managed to negotiate our way out of it and we're back on track again. so my blog now has an additional big-ass countdown clock.

and just as I thought our plans were all sorted out, mom had to throw me another curveball, which sad to say upsetted me (and her) a lot. or maybe I was just over-emotional. I had planned to keep the gown a surprise for my baby when I came down the aisle. But tradition dictates I can't leave the house wearing anything else BUT the gown (or so I was told), I had no choice but to do otherwise, it was non-negotiable. I gave in for the sake of making peace. sigh.

the dearest was so nice when he comforted me later, assuring me that he'd love whatever it was I would wear as I came down the aisle.
